RUN. WORK. REPEAT.

Eight workout stations, each preceded by a 500m run — the classic Hyrox format at half the distance. Every athlete gets a scored finish time, and Pro and Open divisions keep it fair for first-timers and seasoned racers alike.

WHAT IS A HALF HYROX?

Hyrox is the fastest-growing fitness race in the world — a format that pairs running with functional workout stations, back to back, until the course is done. No skills to learn, no fancy movements: just running, pushing, pulling, carrying, and heart.

The Half Hyrox takes that exact format and cuts it in half. You'll run 8 × 500m — 4km of running in total — and hit 8 workout stations, one after every run. It's a real race with a real clock: every athlete gets a scored finish time, and the fastest in each division take the podium.

Race it your way — go solo and own every station yourself, or team up with a partner in the doubles division and split the work. Whether it's your first race or your tenth, the format is simple to learn and impossible to forget.

THE 8 STATIONS

Cross the timing mat from your 500m run and the next station is waiting. Here's what stands between you and the finish line.

01

SKI ERG

Drive the handles down in powerful pulls — legs, core, and lats all working together to hammer through the distance.

02

SLED PUSH

Get low and drive. Full-body power to push the heavy sled down the floor — the legs never get a break.

03

SLED PULL

Hand over hand, haul the weighted sled back toward you. Grip strength and back power decide how fast this goes.

04

BURPEE BROAD JUMPS

Drop into a burpee, then leap as far forward as you can — and repeat until you've covered the distance.

05

ROWING

Smooth, powerful strokes on the rower: legs, hips, arms. Find a rhythm even when everything is burning.

06

FARMER'S CARRY

Pick up the heavy weights and walk. Simple to explain, brutal to finish — grip is everything.

07

SANDBAG LUNGES

Sandbag across your shoulders, lunge your way down the floor. Balance, quads, and pure grit.

08

WALL BALLS

The classic finisher: squat, throw the ball to the target, catch, and go again until the reps are done.

Exact distances and weights for each station will be covered in the event brief you receive after registering.

CHOOSE YOUR DIVISION

Pick your workload — Pro or Open — and race it solo or with a partner in doubles.

For the podium chasers

PRO

The full load. Heavier sleds, sandbags, and balls for experienced racers who want to compete at the front. Choose Pro if you regularly train with heavy loads and want your name on the leaderboard.

For first-timers & finishers

OPEN

The same course with lighter weights. All the running, all eight stations, a little less load — perfect for your first race or anyone who wants to finish strong.

Race it alone

SINGLES

The classic format: every run and every station is all yours. 8 × 500m and all eight stations solo — the ultimate test of your engine and grit.

Team up

DOUBLES

Grab a partner and split the work. You run the 500m legs together and divide the stations between you — same course, shared effort, twice the fun.
